The upcoming 7th edition of the Marrakech Air Show, scheduled to take place from October 30th to November 2nd, 2024, at the Marrakech military airbase, stands as one of Africa’s foremost aviation events. This international exhibition, dedicated to aeronautics and space, is jointly organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Defence Administration, and MEDZ, a subsidiary of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion.

Since its inception in 2008, the Marrakech Air Show has experienced consistent growth, reflecting Morocco’s standing as a global aerospace industry hub. The country’s strategic location, coupled with its robust infrastructure and technological investments, positions it as a pivotal regional hub for the aerospace and defence industry.

Under the High Royal Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Marrakech Air Show has evolved into an exclusive platform for key players in the global aeronautics industry to engage and collaborate. The forthcoming edition is anticipated to introduce a host of new features and business prospects.

The substantial growth of a robust aerospace industry in Morocco over the past two decades under the Royal vision presents significant opportunities for global industry stakeholders. Presently, more than 147 companies operate in Morocco, generating over 20,000 jobs and achieving a 40% integration rate, one of the highest globally.

This year’s event will witness unparalleled participation, featuring 12,500 m2 of exhibition space, 300 exhibitors, over 75 official delegations, captivating aerial demonstrations, a dynamic exhibition, and a comprehensive program of high-level conferences addressing emerging trends and current and future challenges in the sector.

The focus of this year’s event will particularly centre on innovation and new technologies, with a dedicated area for start-ups and research projects. The debates will also centre on the challenges of energy transition and sustainable mobility.

The Marrakech Air Show offers an ideal platform for forging new partnerships and gaining insights into the latest innovations and technologies in the presence of leading global players in aeronautics.
