Russian fighter jet Su-57 makes first international sale at Zhuhai Airshow in China

Russia's state arms exporter, Rosoboronexport, unveiled a momentous announcement: the signing of preliminary contracts to supply the export variant of the Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jet to foreign clients. This significant development occurred during the illustrious Airshow China, which took place in Zhuhai, a bustling hub of aviation and aerospace innovation, marking the Su-57's impressive debut on the international stage.

In an engaging press conference, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev expressed enthusiasm while stating, "We have already signed the first contracts for the Su-57." His words underscored the remarkable international interest that this cutting-edge aircraft has captivated from potential buyers around the world, highlighting its strategic appeal in a rapidly evolving global defence landscape.

Su-57 Specifications

The Su-57, designed by the renowned aerospace manufacturer Sukhoi, stands as a testament to Russian engineering excellence and serves as the country's premier fifth-generation stealth fighter.
